Who We Are
Jarkko Suhonen, Finnish, PhD, holds a senior assistant position at University of Joensuu, Finland. He has worked several years in the ViSCoS distance learning program and the IMPDET online PhD study program with the main responsibility to design, manage and evaluate online courses. Jarkko's research interest include design methods in educational technology, Computer Science Education and distance learning. He has co-authored and published over 30 academic papers. Jarkko has also experience in teaching, project management and writing proposals for EU's Framework programmes. Educational background: PhD, Computer Science (University of Joensuu, 2005), MSc, Computer Science with Teacher Qualification (University of Joensuu, 2000).
